A Permasanctuary in the Making
This is the beginning— And we want to build it together.
We’re planting layered food forests that rebuild soil, increase biodiversity, and create long‑term food security.
Our swales capture rainfall, slow erosion, and bring water back to thirsty soil.
We are designing ponds, swales, and other water-harvesting features to slow, spread, and store water across the landscape—working with the unique climate and natural contours of the Rocky Mountain West to build a more resilient and productive ecosystem.
We’re building ponds that support wildlife, store water, and create microclimates for future retreat spaces.
Biochar, composting, mulching, and microbial restoration are transforming dead soil into living earth.

We envision layered, productive ecosystems of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, and other complementary plants designed along the landscape’s contours and integrated with our swales. These food forests will provide nourishment and habitat while building biodiversity, improving soil, and helping create a more resilient landscape—including serving as part of our fire-mitigation strategy along the western property boundary.
Regenerating Land. Nourishing People.
We believe the way we care for land shapes the way we care for ourselves and one another. WSPIR is being designed as a living example of what becomes possible when we work with nature—building healthy soil, growing food, conserving water, creating habitat, and cultivating spaces where people can learn, connect, and find inspiration.
Every element of the PermaSanctuary is being thoughtfully designed to serve more than one purpose. A food forest can nourish people and wildlife. A swale can capture water and build resilience. Healthy soil can grow food and store life. Together, these systems create something greater than the sum of their parts: a place where regeneration is not simply an idea, but a way of living.

We aim to rebuild and restore the health of the soil through cover cropping, composting, mycelium and other soil-building practices, guided by regular soil testing. Our goal is to increase organic matter, strengthen soil biology, improve water retention, and create fertile, living soil that can sustain a diverse and productive ecosystem for generations to come.
Experienced professionals dedicated to your success.
Proven results that speak for themselves.

. Real Land. Real Learning. Real Change.
Our retreats are built on real projects — not simulations. You learn by doing. You grow by connecting. You transform by participating.
This is regeneration you can feel.
UPCOMING RETREATS
Join Us in the Rocky Mountains
Hands‑on training in soil regeneration, water management, and food forest design.
Reconnect with nature and community through guided learning and sanctuary practices.
Work directly with WSPIR stewards on active land restoration projects.
Healing Land. Healing People.
When land heals, people heal. Our projects are built to restore ecosystems and restore hope at the same time.
Every tree planted is a promise. Every swale dug is a future protected. Every pond built is a new beginning.
This is regeneration with purpose.
Retreats Rooted in Regeneration
Our retreats are immersive experiences where people learn permaculture, reconnect with nature, and rediscover themselves.
These retreats are not vacations. They are transformations.
Learn the core principles of regenerative agriculture through hands‑on practice.
Experience land restoration in one of Colorado’s most beautiful natural environments.
